Come Winter, Spring, Summer or Autumn our extensive grounds are teeming with photo opportunities that will provide the perfect back drop for your memories, offering the opportunity for your wedding photos to not only be beautiful but also completely unique!
Enchanted
Gardens
Our award-winning gardens are planted to season and filled with vast quantities of flowers, shrubs & trees, along with feature statues, sculptures, Ironwork, pond with love chair & displays scattered throughout the garden.
Throughout Spring you’ll find Cherry Blossom, thousands of bulb flowers such as multi coloured Tulips, Hyacinths, Daffodils, Alliums, as well as dancing pond flowers. Summer will bring many varies of flowers, including David Austin Roses, Giant Agapanthus, Dahlias, Clary, Fuchsia’s, Arum Lilies and much more!
Autumn months bring the richest of colours to our many trees, Reds, Coppers, Golds and Pinks within the garden and thousands of berries adorn the outer Hotel walls and hedges, which stay brightly red and orange right through into Winter, when you’ll also find Snowdrops, Helleborus, Violas and Crocus’s.
The Herb
Garden
As well as the flower garden we also have a luscious herb garden filled with over 70 varieties of herbs, fruit and vegetables that are used by our Chefs to create the freshest flavours for your guests to savour!
But it doesn’t just benefit your taste-buds, it benefits your photos too, as in our Herb Garden you’ll find plenty more nooks and crannies for fabulously unique photos! On the Wooden Swings under our arched Grapevine, inside Wrought Iron tunnels covered with Sweet Peas, alongside the Fairytalesque stained glass of Yew Tree Cottage or even with our handsome Donkey – Pegasus?!
Marquee
Garden
You will have exclusive use of our all weather marquee with an enclosed area of the gardens, perfect for group ariel shots!
The marquee has a full bar within it, so guests can arrive for a drink and catch up before the ceremony.

After your civil ceremony, or upon arrival from Church, your drinks will be ready for guests and it’s the perfect place for canapes, garden games or even a bouncy castle?!
You’ll go back down to the marquee for around 40 minutes whilst we change the layout of the Barn for your evening reception, creating room for your dancefloor and making the Barn pristine again…ready to party the night away!
The Marquee is included in the price of our package and even comes fully decorated with fairy lights, table centrepieces and easel for any cute signs you may wish to bring in?!
We’ve tried to think of everything, we even channeled pipes under the garden, into the Hotel cellar, so you get a lovely pint of “proper beer” and don’t get stuck with nasty cans, lol!
The Garden Rooms
Our Brand NEW Oak framed building – replacing Marquee from mid October 2025
You will have exclusive use of our all new Oak framed timber building & glass conservatory, which will be completed by mid October 2025.
“The Garden Room” will be accessed through the stables in the Courtyard, which will be converted, so no need to go through the Hotel, just 10 seconds walk from the Wedding Barn!
It will have a fully fitted showcase bar within it, so guests can arrive for a drink and catch up before & after the ceremony and a feature wall, so if the weather is unkind outside, you can still have group shots inside.
The artists drawings are a “simple” version, our expertise in decor and making everything inkeeping and beautiful, will mean that this new addition really will have “the wow-factor”!
