Come Winter, Spring, Summer or Autumn our extensive grounds are teeming with photo opportunities that will provide the perfect back drop for your memories, offering the opportunity for your wedding photos to not only be beautiful but also completely unique!
The Garden Room
Our NEW Oak framed building, “The Garden Room”
You’ll have exclusive use of our gorgeous new oak-framed timber building and glass conservatory, The Garden Room, completed in October 2025.
Complete with it’s own bar, it’s the perfect place for guests to arrive, grab a drink, and enjoy a good catch-up before and after your ceremony. There’s also a beautiful feature wall, so even if the great British weather doesn’t behave, you’ll still have a lovely spot for group photos indoors!
The Garden Room really does have that wow-factor—and comes fully styled, so you don’t need to spend a penny decorating it yourself (unless you’d like to add a few personal touches, of course!).
After your civil ceremony in the Tithe Barn, or when you arrive from Church, drinks will be ready and waiting. It’s an ideal space for canapés, garden games… or even a bouncy castle if that’s your thing!
Later on, while we quietly transform the Barn for your evening celebration, you and your guests will head back to The Garden Room for around 45 minutes—giving us time to create the dancefloor and get everything looking perfect again, for the evening party ahead.
The Garden Room is included in your wedding package and comes complete with table centrepieces, an easel for any cute signs you’d like to bring, and feature wall ready for photos.

Enchanted
Gardens
Our award-winning gardens are planted to season and filled with vast quantities of flowers, shrubs & trees, along with feature statues, sculptures, Ironwork, pond with love chair & displays scattered throughout the garden.
Throughout Spring you’ll find Cherry Blossom, thousands of bulb flowers such as multi coloured Tulips, Hyacinths, Daffodils, Alliums, as well as dancing pond flowers. Summer will bring many varies of flowers, including David Austin Roses, Giant Agapanthus, Dahlias, Clary, Fuchsia’s, Arum Lilies and much more!
Autumn months bring the richest of colours to our many trees, Reds, Coppers, Golds and Pinks within the garden and thousands of berries adorn the outer Hotel walls and hedges, which stay brightly red and orange right through into Winter, when you’ll also find Snowdrops, Helleborus, Violas and Crocus’s.
The Herb
Garden
As well as the flower garden we also have a luscious herb garden filled with over 70 varieties of herbs, fruit and vegetables that are used by our Chefs to create the freshest flavours for your guests to savour!
But it doesn’t just benefit your taste-buds, it benefits your photos too, as in our Herb Garden you’ll find plenty more nooks and crannies for fabulously unique photos! On the Wooden Swings under our arched Grapevine, inside Wrought Iron tunnels covered with Sweet Peas, alongside the Fairytalesque stained glass of Yew Tree Cottage or even with our handsome Donkey – Pegasus?!
