Twilight Package
What is a Twilight Package?
A Twilight Wedding is a beautifully relaxed style of Wedding that begins later in the afternoon, with your ceremony taking place around 3.30pm or 4pm.
After your ceremony, the day flows into mingling with guests, enjoying drinks and a grazing station, along with time for photo opportunities.
Instead of a traditional sit-down wedding breakfast, you then go straight into the evening reception. It’s ideal for couples who want a more laid-back Wedding, with less formality and more time to enjoy the fun of the day, whilst still having the romance and magic!
Timings of a “typical” Twilight Wedding
We will run the day how YOU want it! Below you will find a guide to the most popular timings, if you don’t want speeches, 1st dance etc, no problem!
Likewise I’d prefer more time with you day guests and start your evening function later, it’s all good!…
3pm: Guests arrive for a relaxed catch up in The Garden Room, before the ceremony.
4pm: Ceremony takes place in our 17th Century Tithe Barn.
4.30 – 6.00pm: Mingle with your guests who attended your Ceremony with reception drinks & grazing station. This is also a great time for your Wedding photographer to capture those all-important memories.
6 – 6.30pm Use this time either for formal/informal speeches before your evening guests arrive, or greet your evening guests as they arrive from 6pm.
6.30 – 12pm: All guests will move from The Garden Room to The Tithe Barn around 6.30pm. Throughout the start of your evening, our team will set up your cake cut, 1st dance & evening food. With all formalities over by around 8- 8.30pm, you’re free to enjoy the rest of night and really let your hair down!
How much does it cost?
Please see our pricelist below, prices vary depending in which month or year it is. These prices are based on 40 guests for Ceremony, Post Ceremony drinks & grazing station (including yourselves) and 80 guests for evening reception & evening food. You can add on additional day or evening guests, up to 120 day or 140 evening, in total.
There’s no hidden extras, this is everything you need, however we are very flexible, so should you want to swap, change or add anything we are happy to do a bespoke quote (such as change of numbers or if you wanted to add additional items or upgrade food item to BBQ, Streetfood etc.
It’s says Sunday to Thursdays – how much is it if i want to marry on a Friday or Saturday?
If you need your Wedding to be a Friday or Saturday, then we can still offer a Twilight Wedding, it’s just it would have to reach a minimum spend.
This is effectively the cheapest package price for the day of the week, month and year. So, for example, if you wanted a Friday in July 2026, the cheapest package would be Small & Intimate package, which is £8500, for 40 day & 60 evening guests. We will do you a bespoke quote, so for example, may mean that you can have many more guests than the above packages, and cut out some of the food or drink?

Reason to love Twilight Weddings
- Twilight weddings are great for anyone getting married on a budget. Since they start in the late afternoon, you cut out the 3 course Wedding Breakfast (which is usually the biggest expense!). Guests will usually have a large lunch before getting to the Venue, meaning that a Grazing Station post ceremony & evening food are all you need! A big celebration, just with a smaller price tag!
- You can ditch the table plans! If you have “family politics”, cutting out the 3 course sit down meal means no need for a table plan at all!
- If you hate being the centre of attention and the thought of a formal top table terrifies you, you don’t have to do that!
- Second time around? If you’ve already had the big expensive Wedding, and found love again, maybe you want a more low-key wedding this time and spend more time with guests than at the dinner table?
- You may get a discount on photographers, videographers, and other services who off a “half day” package?
- Great if you struggle with early morning or hate feeling rushed! Even with a 1.30 ceremony your MUA & hair stylist will need you as early as 6.30 am, meaning getting in the shower for 5.30-6 am! With a later start, Twilight weddings mean a more relaxed timeline for pre-wedding prep on the day, and more time having fun and getting ready with your bestie before the ceremony!
- Guests only half to take a half day off work!
- You spend far less time “at a table” – meaning you spend more time with your guests! If you are more about the partying and getting to chat to all of your guests, cutting out the 3 course meal, gives you an extra 2 hours of mingling time!
What are the food choices?
Our delicious Twilight package Menu below is all made from scratch onsite and we will cater for dietary requirements seperately, so you don’t need to choose based on them!
We’re very flexible, so if there’s anything else you’d prefer, such as BBQ, Streetfood, fully Vegetarian etc, just let us know! Depending on the type and quanity of food you would like, this may incur an upgrade fee, but our approach to compltete transparency means you’ll quote you, so you know exactly what the cost will be before commiting.

We hadn’t been engaged very long, but on a bit of a whim, I decided to take Debbie to a Wedding Fayre at The Hundred House (tbh I just thought it would get me into Debs good books for the day!)
The venue looked perfect, from the beautiful barn, to the quirky gardens, it all looked fantastic.

When the day finally arrived, it couldn’t have been or gone any better! We never had to worry about a thing, everything had been done and planned exactly how we’d wished.
The food was out of this world, the Wedding cake was perfect and the staff were just brilliant; they made us both feel like we were the most important couple and couldn’t do enough for us both.
All in all, after just 5 Months of planning, the day and venue were Magical.

When we first contacted The Hundred house about booking our wedding we had thought September, giving us 7 months to plan, but they had last minute availability for a Saturday in May that we could not refuse, giving us 3 months to plan.
Gem and the team were really calm and knowledgeable about all the steps we had to take which made it so much easier for us. The Hundred house can sort and supply pretty much everything you need, cake, DJ, Decorations etc. They had everything totally sorted. We had very little to bring with us, reducing the amount we had to stress over.
We wouldn’t change a thing about the planning, it was short and sweet! It actually helped with some of the decision making too as we didn’t have time to overthink anything.

Compare Venue Prices
In order to get the “true cost” of the venues you’ve shortlisted, you really need a spreadsheet!
Yes, we know it’s not sexy, but what venues include in their price fluctuates so wildly, so it’s the only way to compare the total cost.
To help with this we have created a list of all the things we include in our packages, along with a few extra columns for other venues you may have also shortlisted.
Check what’s included at your other fav venues (asking this question will also avoid potentially getting stung later too!), get your quotes together, input the information on the spreadsheet and hey presto, you’ll have a clear idea of comparisons.
We recommend viewing and saving on a PC/laptop rather than a phone, no ones eye sight is that good, lol!

Micro Weddings…
Should your numbers fall under our package numbers, then fear not! We offer bespoke quotes for Monday to Wednesday Weddings.
If you’d like a Thursday, we can still offer a bespoke quote based on your numbers, however as we believe in total transparency, we do require a minimum spend.
Please speak to our Wedding Manager, Gemma, on how to achieve this by adding on extras such as Canapes, Wedding Cake, upgrade food choices etc and we’ll provide you with a detailed quote so you can explore all the options.
